​Ceramics is an art medium that you will explore in this class by creating artworks and learning about its functionality in everyday life. Each themed unit will help you navigate through the creative process. You will complete each project by using a variety of techniques and processes, learning about chemical and physical properties related to clay and ceramic ware, and reinforcing skills related to three-dimensional design.
Philosophy
My teaching methods are grounded on 3 simple things, HEAD, HEART and HANDS. If you can connect the three, you will have a successful year in class.
